Why Kamran started Khan RD
Nutrition advice changes with the wind.
Kamran first saw it as a diet tech in college, in his own life and in other people’s. Advice about food kept shifting, with no continuity and no certainty to hold onto.
That leaves a lot of people unsure what to trust. For some, it goes further: they get sick, or they feel terrible.
He went on to work in clinical nutrition, at the Texas Athletic Nutrition Center at the University of Texas, and across several levels of care in eating disorder treatment centers. Each setting showed him the same thing: nutrition has to be individual. A set of general rules leaves people feeling they can’t follow them.
Kamran’s care is weight-inclusive and HAES®-aligned.
Nutrition should support your life, not control it.
